The word “If” brings so much possibilities to the point that it’s almost magical. When applied to your daily experiences, it makes all the difference. Here are my personal If's that have brought me good for the past few years and I’d love to share them with you... It’s a powerful word... use it like you stole it, because it’s free.
1. IF YOU FAIL, ITERATE, PIVOT, NEVER GIVE UP
I'm one to follow my heart's desire so much that more often it turns into a venture like tech into IT companies, shoes into Shoephoric, fitness became The Playground and clean eating into Ann's DFIC.
I had my successes and learned valuable lessons which I would not have learned if I didn't have the guts to chase my dreams. I give each venture about a year to grow. If after giving my time and energy and things turn out to grow slowly and my passion dwindles, I know it's time to iterate and pivot but I never give up.
2. IF YOU FOLLOW YOUR HEART, IT WILL NOT LEAD YOU ASTRAY
My favorite meditation says:
"That which I seek is seeking me, I let go of how it will come to me and I focus on my heart's desire. my higher self within me knows how to make it happen so I just relax and let go. Everything that's necessary for the fulfillment of my desires is lovingly and harmoniously drawn to me. I accept this or something better. I'm ready, receptive and grateful and so it is.
It's always the case if you believe in your dreams. You will be guided to meet the specific people or be in circumstances and conditions that will help you make that dream come true.
3. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE SOMETHING YOU NEVER HAD, DO SOMETHING YOU'VE NEVER DONE
I believe in the unconventional. As a child, I played with pots, pans and paper dolls. Played hide and seek, climbed trees. I also played with electronic parts and gadgets. Measured ohms, amperes and voltages. All of them because I wanted to experiment with stuff I’ve never experienced.
I love all fashion, looking good and stylish while feeling comfortable. I love technology and innovating solutions to make tasks easier to accomplish.
It's okay to break the stereotype. It's exciting to change the status quo. It's fine to open up and show your authentic self. It's okay to be vulnerable. It makes you tough.
This week gives us ample time to reflect and ponder on the things life is teaching us. May we all have a blessed Holy Week and be recharged to kickstart the second quarter of the year.
Personally, I break down my goals by quarter and my first one was all about Preparations. The next one will be all about Go- Getting, and I just can’t wait. This week is all about reflecting and taking a step back, we should make the most of it. Here’s me sending wishes and prayers so that we may all achieve what we've set to accomplish.
“If” doesn’t close doors, instead it unlocks them and opens a whole new realm of possibilities. It gives more meaning to living and breaks barriers of monotony. If you wanna live to the fullest, don’t hold back. Live!back. Live!
